Had a meeting today with Bob Pickford at Findlay Market about Project Lily Pad. It was really just an update as Bob is already excited. We just need to finalize plans and then get the routers up and running. Should be live in a matter of weeks at the market and elsewhere...

not that it has anything to do with Ecuador or my trek to 2,984 minutes, but I'm excited about getting wifi all over our region!

Day 38: Flights to Ecuador

It's time to start looking for flights down to Ecuador. I am going to go ahead and bypass those lovely flights that make a nice stop in Bogota, Columbia. Not that I think anything would actually happen, but Columbia doesn't seem like the most American friendly place to be.

I am likely going to join a couple of the others for an extra day or two post Habitat to see a bit of what Ecuador has to offer. Should be fun.

Day 37: Give Back Board Meeting

Joined the Operational Board of Give Back Cincinnati as we celebrated the success of Paint the Town, and rehashed things that we can do even better next year as we expand the program. If you've never heard of Paint the Town, check out our website and get your company involved next year... it's a great event that makes a major impact on individuals and communities through exterior painting of low income owner occupied homes.

Then of course we headed to Hofbrahaus Newport to finish the evening off!

Day 36: Father's Day

Another day with the family... always good to hang out with the parents, brother, sister, and my 2 nieces and nephews... hanging out with a 4 year old, 3 year old and 11 month old is a great way to put things into perspective!

And it was back to the basement going nowhere after a couple great days on a bike... but you have to do what fits in the schedule, and for me being able to hop on the bike at 10 PM in the basement is typically what works best.
